AFLW MVP Erin Phillips will miss Adelaide’s clash with Melbourne on Saturday.
The star Crow injured her quad at training on Friday.
“It’s disappointing I won’t be out there to help the team on Saturday, but the medical advice is that I should rest this week,” Phillips said.
“I know the girls are really keen to respond after the loss to Brisbane, and it’s a great opportunity for our young players to get some more exposure at the highest level.
“I’ll help however I can off the field this week and will be doing everything I can to play in Round Three.”
Courtney Cramey has also been ruled out with a hamstring.
