Adelaide CEO Andrew Fagan is promising to “review hard” following the club’s grand final loss to Richmond on Saturday.

“We picked a really bad day to have a really bad day. I’m upset for our supporters who travelled across and wanted to see more. I understand their emotion. I can assure them no one is hurting more than the players and the coaches… we wanted this one.

“Unfortunately we weren’t good enough… That’s something we have to live with.

“We were well below our best… and Richmond were outstanding.

“You don’t accidentally finish on top of the table… but we went a long way to eventually walk away with nothing. It’s pretty raw and it hurts. We’ll use that as a driver.”
