Adelaide Oval should be in top condition ready for the start of AFL season, despite hosting a number of recent events, including Adele’s giant concert on Monday night.
“Damian [Hough – Adelaide Oval head curator] and his team do an amazing job,” Darren Chandler from the Adelaide Oval SMA told FIVEAA’s David and Will.

“We put a lot of months planning into this — and it’s not just this event.
“We had Guns N’ Roses a few weeks ago, we’ve had boxing, we’ve had cricket in between. There’s a lot of planning to make sure the turf is kept as goods as it possibly can be,” Darren said.
“We’ll also replace a fair bit of turf. There’s got to be some areas that will need replacing after this concert. We’re very, very confident that come 26 March the ground will be in perfect condition for footy.”
