This week the AFLW revealed Erin will present the award for best on ground at this year’s grand final, but says it will hold off confirming a permanent honour for the retired three-time premiership and three-time All-Australian star.
TOM: “I think she’s got the resume to have some kind of award in her honour… I think it’s a no brainer. Am I missing something?”
WILL: “What kind of talent are they waiting for? … This is as obvious a case as you’re ever going to get. What are you doing administering the sport if you can’t see that the greatest ever player has retired and deserves some sort of eternal recognition.”
