North Melbourne has delisted Lindsay Thomas, seemingly paving the way for the veteran forward’s widely tipped move to Port Adelaide.
“Roos were only going to delist Lindsay Thomas if someone else was paying some of his 2018 wage. So likely heading to Power,” Herald Sun report Jon Ralph tweeted on Friday.

Kangaroos football manager Cameron Joyce said:
“On behalf of the club we would like to thank Lindsay for his professionalism over the past 11 seasons.
“Linds has played some outstanding footy in his time and was widely regarded as one of the most potent, electric small forwards in the game.
“He is an intelligent and determined footballer that played with a tremendous amount of passion and desire.
“He played with his heart on his sleeve and overcame some huge challenges to carve out a fantastic career at North at the highest level.”
