NO. 1 AMERICAN HOT DOG WITH PINTO BEANS

2 CUPS PINTO BEANS
1 ONION
1 TBS GARLIC
4 BACON RASHERS
1 LT TOMATO PASSATA
500ML WATER OR CHICKEN STOCK
2 TBS CHIPOTLE IN ADOBO
2 TBS MAPLE SYRUP
2 TBS BBQ SAUCE

soak your beans over night in water or tin beans if you’re in a hurry

put the beans in cold water bring to boil and simmer until tender or you can used cooked beans in a pot fry the garlic, onion & bacon, add the beans and cook for 20 min, season with salt & pepper

GRAINY MUSTARD

heat the sauer kraut in a pan add grainy mustard and beer simmer and place your vienna in the pan to heat

place the vienna in the brioche bun, top with sauer kraut and bavarian or dijon mustard

butterfly your hot dog and place on a sandwich press with your bun, add a little butter grill for a short while and then place the dog in the bun and grill again
