Adelaide Crows assistant coach James Podsiadly has waved away questions about the club’s number of hamstring injuries.
“I suppose it’s just part and parcel of AFL these days,” Pods told Leith Forrest on FIVEAA.
“I think it’s just the way AFL is played these days. It’s just the way it is.”
The Crows are waiting for the results of scans on Daniel Talia and Riley Knight after the club’s 67-point win over Gold Coast.
“Whether they did them or not we don’t know yet, but I think it’s part and parcel of the industry.”
The Crows have now recorded eight hamstring injuries since the start of the year.

Pods said the Suns were a “classy” side despite their heavy loss to the Crows:
“They have been in good form, but our players are pretty wary that most games in the AFL these days can be pretty close.
“It’s a credit to our guys and the way they approached the game.
“We’re really happy with the way it’s going. There’s probably still areas that we can improve on, which is good for us.
“Our offence does come off the back of some good contest and some good defence as well. It’s not just all about the way we move the ball.”
