Adelaide FC’s move to a new home base has faced numerous challenges and delays, but now the club’s Chairman is optimistic about getting a “green light” on the plan to build at Thebarton.
Speaking on FIVEAA, he even offered the date he believes the club will finally be able to move in.
John Olsen told Rowey & Timmy G:
“Our final application is before the State Planning Authority – this is the last consultation period… they will have consultations with a whole range of people that have made submissions to them and then they’ll make a final determination.
“At that point I would hope there is a green light for us to proceed.”
So when does the first survey peg go in?
“1 September,” Mr Olsen said.
“And a two-year build. That would leave us moving into the site September-October 2026,” he said.
