Adelaide Crow Riley Thilthorpe will have surgery on an injured knee.
According to afc.com.au:
Thilthorpe will have surgery on his knee this week, with scans revealing he had damaged his meniscus after landing awkwardly in the Crows’ Community Series match against West Coast on Saturday.
The Club will be in a better position to determine a return date for Thilthorpe post-surgery and speaking to the media on Monday, Hombsch says although disappointing to lose the forward for the start of the season, there are players who can step up and fill the void.
