Police are investigating a house fire at Seaton.

According to SAPOL:

About 12.15pm Tuesday 17 December emergency services were called to Harold Street after reports that a house was on fire.

An elderly woman escaped from the home and has been taken to hospital with serious injuries.

The house was extensively damaged as a result of the fire. Police and MFS Fire Cause Investigators are at the scene to investigate the circumstances surrounding the blaze including the cause of the fire.
