With big things expected from Port Adelaide in 2015, coach Ken Hinkley talks about the extra pressure.
“I welcome the fact that we’re viewed that way,” Hinkley told Rowey and Bicks on FIVEAA. “I think that’s a positive for our football club.”
“If you shy away from that, I don’t know why we’re in the game because we’re in the game to get to the top,” he said.
The comments came prior to a match simulation at Alberton on Friday night.
“I know things can go wrong so I don’t get carried away with expectation from external.
“But I also know things done well, you can actually go a long way towards where you want to go.
“Hopefully we deserve the expectation that everyone’s putting on us. We’re going to need to be at our absolute best at the start of the season,” Hinkley said.
