Jackson Trengove is hoping Jarman Impey will end up playing with him at the Western Bulldogs.
“I’m working on it, boys, I’m working on it,” Jacko told Melbourne radio on Friday.
Impey’s future at Port Adelaide is under a serious cloud.
“He’s very close to me, lives with me. I’ve been with him for the last couple of weeks,” Trengove said.
“He’s got a really big decision to make for his future. It’s sort of an awkward position. I’d love for him to play with me again and don the jumper, but he’s in a unique situation where he has to make a decision.
“I can’t make it for him. I’d love to make it for him — I know where he’d end up if I was making it.
“He’ll make a decision in the coming weeks and he’ll make the right decision for what’s best for him.”
