Port Adelaide are leading Carlton in the race to lure Brisbane Lion Tom Rockliff, reports Kane Cornes.
“I think Port Adelaide would be just with their noses in front,” Kane told Trade Radio on Wednesday. “I don’t necessarily think he fits in at Carlton, just his age demographic, and if they keep Bryce Gibbs or not I’m not sure — but I think he’s a really good fit for Port Adelaide.”
“I know they’re desperate to get him. They’re also pretty desperate to get both him and Motlop — they want both of them. They’ve got salary cap room.”
#WordOnTheStreet is that Tom Rockliff has been staying at the house of Port captain Travis Boak while in Adelaide.
