Kane Cornes says he’s pumped following news he will cover Gerard Whateley’s 9am to midday spot on SEN radio in Melbourne.
“To get an opportunity to learn my craft and speak to the passionate Melbourne people, I don’t think there’s anyone as passionate about their sport as the Melbourne public, so I’m looking forward to stirring a few up and getting there and having a bit of fun,” Kane has told News Ltd.
“It’ll be nothing like Gerard’s show… I think you’ve really got to be true to yourself. I’ll have a strong opinion when that’s needed.
“There’s a strong rivalry between Victoria and SA and I think that will work to the show’s advantage. While it’ll be tailored towards Victorian audience, but whenever I get a chance to pump up Adelaide and our SA teams, I’ll certainly be doing that.”
Pumped to join @SENNews and keep the guru @GerardWhateley's seat warm every Friday morning between 9-12.
