FIVEAA Breakfast’s David Penberthy says talks are reportedly underway to bring state Liberal MP Nick McBride into the Malinuaskas Labor cabinet.
Penbo revealed during Monday’s Breaking @ 8 segment:
“There are strong rumours – and they’re coming from within the Labor party – that the government has been talking to Mr McBride and they’re prepared to find space in cabinet for him, particularly given that Geoff Brock is probably not going to stay on forever as a minister…”
“Nick McBride is someone who has already canvassed the idea of walking away from the Liberal party. If he does that it’s a nightmare situation for the SA Liberals…”
