A Lamborghini was impounded after the driver allegedly tested positive to cannabis at Paradise on Thursday.

According to SAPOL:

Police pulled over the orange Lamborghini Huracan on Darley Road, Paradise about 5.45pm on Thursday 12 December for a mobile driver test and to ensure driver was the holder of a valid U-Class (ultra high powered vehicle) licence.

The driver, a 35-year-old man, held the appropriate licence but tested positive to cannabis.

He was issued with a three-month instant loss of licence pending forensic analysis.  His vehicle was impounded for 28 days.

Also of concern to police, there was a child in the vehicle at the time.

Police urge all drivers not to drink or drug drive at any time of year, but especially during this festive season.
