SA has recorded one new coronavirus case linked to the Parafield cluster as Premier Steven Marshall says he is positive about Christmas celebrations in the state this year.

Professor Nicola Spurrier said the new case was a woman who has been in quarantine since Monday and had returned two negative results before a positive this morning.

There are now 27 cases in the Parafield cluster, and 38 total active cases in SA.
