Port Adelaide CEO Keith Thomas has been quizzed about reports a player is under investigation over drug and sex text messages that were leaked online.

Thomas said he was yet to speak to any player and believed the situation would be handled by the AFL’s integrity unit.

He told media:

“It’s private content that potentially has been inappropriately placed in the public domain.

“There are people named within it, so I imagine that could be quite embarrassing for them and I don’t want to be fuelling any further speculation about it.”

Thomas was at a press conference to announce St Kilda would be the club’s new opponent for its China game for the next three seasons.
