One of AFL boss Gillon McLachlan’s priorities is making the footy cheaper for families.
“I’m not sure what he’s done from a ticketing point of view or from the AFL’s perspective to do that,” Darren Chandler from the Adelaide Oval Stadium Management Authority told FIVEAA.
“How stadiums are run are up to the stadiums themselves. Each stadium has to run a viable commercial business model and we’re no different to that.”
Mr. Chandler said there was no plan to cut food prices at Adelaide Oval, despite prices at the MCG dropping by about 20 per cent.
“We don’t understand how they’ve been able to do it. Those sort of price drops are significant,” he said.
