An unnamed employee at Parabanks Shopping Centre in Salisbury says staff are in danger on their way to and from work.

“We have had a longstanding run of abuse, property damage and physical damage, but it is only getting worse,” the worker told The Messenger.

“We have had one worker go on post-traumatic stress leave and we had to move her to another location so that she could feel safe leaving work at night.

“I’ve actually been followed myself and it is really threatening.”

More than 140 workers and shoppers at the centre have signed a petition calling for car park upgrades, according to the paper.
