Supermarkets Are Bringing Back Some Nationwide Purchase Limits

Coles and Woolworths have reportedly reinstated nationwide purchase limits on toilet paper and paper towel after initially only restricting purchases in Melbourne stores as Victoria battles a COVID-19 outbreak.

Effective from today, the following limits apply at all Coles supermarkets and Coles Express stores, as well as Coles Online:
Toilet paper – one pack
Paper towel – one pack

There are reports Woolworths has also placed a two-pack limit on toilet paper and paper towel in all Australian stores.
