Drug driving is now a major challenge, warns Police Minister Peter Malinauskas.
11 per cent of all people tested in SA returned a positive result, Mr Malinauskas tells Leon Byner.
“Almost one in five people dying on our roads has got either cannabis or methamphetamine in their system,” he said. “We’ve really got a problem that needs to be addressed.”

“20 years ago drink driving was the major challenge… I think today the new horizon is trying to do something substantial about drug driving,” he said.
