Thomas Foods has begun redeploying workers from the Murray Bridge meatworks destroyed by fire earlier in the month.
The company announced on Wednesday that 340 employees from the destroyed factory had started working at its Lobethal meat processing facility. Another 70 positions will also be made available there in the “short term”.
150 new positions have been opened at the company’s Tamworth facility, and 90 more staff remain employed at Murray Bridge.
