FIVEAA’s Warren Tredrea has picked apart mistakes made at the Adelaide Crows in recent years saying he can only “call it as I see it”.

Tredders told Rowey’s Sports Show:

“No one is willing to call it as they see it. This is list management, this is development, and this is poor recruiting…

“If we go through the years of what Adelaide’s done when they were at the top of the ladder – and I get it, you chase the premiership – but they go and get Bryce Gibbs for four years. He’s now paid to retire. Josh Jenkins, he only wanted three years early at medium money… he’s now in the second year of being paid for another club. Sloane’s got five years and unfortunately from a foot injury he’s dropped off… he looks like he’s off the pace at the moment. Betts is playing for the opposition and last year got paid to do the same…

“They stuffed up the list management when they were up the top and they refused to buy into the kids…”

Tredders also questioned a raft of draft choices made by the club in recent years.

“I’ll actually call it as I see it. I think Adelaide has been terrible in the space of list management, development hasn’t improved much, and their recruitment has been poor.”
