Rain falling over Kangaroo Island and the Eyre Peninsula early on Tuesday is expected to reach Adelaide by late morning, reports the Bureau of Meteorology.
8-15mm is forecast to fall in Adelaide, with a chance of a thunderstorm during the afternoon. Winds northerly 30 to 40 km/h, tending west to northwest 35 to 45 km/h late morning, before shifting west to southwesterly early afternoon.
On Wednesday there is a chance of showers in the early morning and late evening, before the city faces possible heavy falls the next day. 6-20mm is tipped for Adelaide on Thursday, with the chance of a thunderstorm in the afternoon and evening and possible hail in the evening.
