FIVEAA host Jade Robran has today announced to her listeners that she will be leaving FIVEAA Afternoons.
As she started her shift on Monday, Jade said:
“After two wonderful years hosting Afternoons on FIVEAA, I’ve decided that I will be stepping away… It is my decision and it’s been a really tough one, and one that I haven’t taken lightly, but it is best for me and my family.
“I just wanted to say how much of a privilege it has been to share your afternoons with you and bring you all the news and events around our beautiful city…. What I’ve really loved the most is the great laughs that we have had and the fact that you ring in and you share your personal stories with me and you trust me with that, and that is not lost on me. From the bottom of my heart thank you so much for an incredible two years everybody. FIVEAA has been an amazing place to work and I’ve got some great mates here…”
FIVEAA Station Manager Craig Munn said:
“Jade has been an exceptional member of our FIVEAA team for the past two years, providing our audiences an excellent Afternoons program that has always kept listeners up to date and abreast of topics and issues relevant to Adelaide and South Australia.
“While we’re sad to see her leave afternoons, we’re extremely supportive of her decision to step back. We’re currently working with Jade on plans to keep her involved with the station in 2024, which we will announce as soon as possible.”
Jade’s final Afternoons programme will be Friday, the 27th of October with FIVEAA weekends host Angie McBride stepping in to host the shift for the remainder of the year.
