This pair of X Factor New Zealand judges have topped the list of the nastiest in the world, after this controversial spray.

There’s harsh, and then there’s just plain awful.

X Factor NZ judges Natalia Kills and Willy Moon have sparked outrage with their post-performance comments to contestant Joe Irvine on the show last night.

We’re not talking about harsh criticism, Simon Cowell style. We’re talking just straight up bullying.

These two judges are actually a married couple, and they are both singers, and they are both being accused of verbal abuse, after attacking Irvine’s image/style/performance.

“I personally found it artistically atrocious. I’m embarrassed to be sitting here in your presence having to dignify you with my opinion,” Natalia started.

She then handed the baton to her husband Willy, who equated his look with that of Norman bates.

“You look like Norman Bates dressing up in his mother’s clothing. It’s just a little bit creepy and I feel like you’re going to stitch someone’s skin to your face and then kill everybody in the audience.”

Irvine remained dignified as he copped the inappropriate verbal spray.

Another judge, Melanie Blatt, who was a member of All Saints, defended Irvine while Stan Walker (judge number four) sat there in shock.

“You know what Joe, I don’t think many people have believed in you. But I tell you right now, I believe in you,” Blatt said.

The internet has erupted with complaints about the judge’s harsh comments, so much so that TV3 has had to issue a statement.

TWEETS

“TV3 does not condone bullying and are currently on-site with Joe who is doing well,” they tweeted.

Should they be sacked?
