The woman later posted the video online of herself referring to a script as she dodged questions about her reason for travelling and where she had come from.

“No fine, drove straight out of Melbourne, they took no info from me,” she reportedly wrote in her Facebook post.

“No licence, no questions of theirs were answered.”

7 News have published a selection of comments from viewers of the video who are furious at the woman’s actions:

“It’s because of people like you that my family that work in emergency medicine are put in danger,” one person said.

“It’s because of [people like] you that the elderly and the most vulnerable are put in danger.

“It’s because of [people like] you that I’ve been unable to see my grandchildren and children when they are going through a personal crisis alone.”

Another commenter said Black could think “what you like about government and world conspiracies”.

“But listen to the real men and women on the ground fighting to keep these people alive and [who] are seeing the devastation of the virus with their own eyes,” another person said.

“Does it take for you to lose someone close to you to see that this sh** is real.

“There are rules in place to protect us all…

“The government is restricting some aspects of our life so we can hopefully get our life back to normal as quick as possible.

“Do you get that they are actually fighting to get our freedom back for us.”
