Last night he was lighting up Adelaide Oval in front of 55,000 fans but today legendary Queen guitarist Brian May has taken to social media to blast Marion Council’s proposed cat curfew as “absolutely vile”.
Noting the “nice front-page review” of Queen’s Wednesday night show in The Advertiser, May then took aim at the plan:
“What miserable bastard thought that one up?” he wrote on Instagram. “A law like this would give the worst elements of society Carte Blanche to abuse their neighbours’ pets. How absolutely vile.”
Under the plan, the council would supply cages so people could catch cats wandering on their property between 9pm and 7am.
