Severe Weather Warning
for DAMAGING WINDS
For people in Adelaide Metropolitan, Mount Lofty Ranges, Yorke Peninsula, Mid North, Kangaroo Island, Murraylands, Upper South East, Lower South East and parts of Flinders and Riverland districts.

Windy conditions today over central and southeastern parts of South Australia.
According to the Bureau of Meteorology:
A vigorous west to southwesterly airstream will persist across central and southeastern parts of the state today.
DAMAGING WEST to SOUTHWESTERLY WINDS averaging 50 to 70 km/h with peak gusts up to 100 km/h are likely about the coasts and ranges.
For the remainder of the warning area, squally conditions with DAMAGING WIND GUSTS up to 100 km/h are possible, especially with showers or isolated thunderstorms in the Lower South East district.
Moderation is expected to occur later on Monday afternoon, contracting to the South East districts by evening.
Locations which may be affected include Adelaide, Mount Gambier, Maitland, Murray Bridge, Kingscote and Naracoorte.
The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Move vehicles under cover or away from trees;
* Secure or put away loose items around your property.
* Stay indoors, away from windows, while conditions are severe.
