An Adelaide service station has been spotted selling petrol for as much as $2.20 a litre.
Eddie Godfrey from 9 News reported motorists had been stung by the high prices at the Parafield Gardens Mogas.
“We just spoke to a woman who didn’t realise petrol was $1.99/L and had to pay $120.00 after filling up!” Eddie tweeted on Wednesday afternoon.
At 3:33pm the station’s prices appeared to be a one off, with listeners reporting other city stations were selling petrol at closer to usual prices…
But could this outlet be an indicator of where prices are about to head?
Stay tuned.
