7NEWS has revealed FIVEAA’s own Will Goodings will co-host the station’s 6pm news bulletins on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays – starting this week.
Will – who co-hosts FIVEAA Breakfast, 6-9am weekdays with David Penberthy – will sit alongside Rosanna Mangiarelli at the 7NEWS desk.
Speaking to The Advertiser about his new gig, Will told the paper:
“Seven has been the standard-bearer of TV excellence in this town for years. This is not an opportunity you say no to.”
According to 7 and The Advertiser, Mike Smithson – who has been co-presenting the weekend bulletins – will have a new role announced in coming weeks.
