Kochie has told Will Goodings on FIVEAA:
“I am extremely confident with the list that we’ve got. When you look at what we’ve been through in this 12 months we’ve got some depth that will keep evolving. Our list as we always do every year, we’ll asses our program at the end of the year as we always do and look where we need to continually improve. We’ve got some players who have been hit with injuries and have taken a while to come back or haven’t really played at their best…
“The game on the weekend – I was extraordinarily frustrated like everybody else and, disappointed – showed we can mix it with the absolute very best.”
“We’ve got a really talented list,” Kochie said. “We’ve got a really strong program and a program and a team and football department that hangs together. They have tried their guts out every single week…
“We’re a good football side, there’s no doubt about that. We’ve got to play more consistently for longer at our best and at our best, which you saw in the third quarter, we can be devasting but the problem is you saw us at our worst during the second quarter.”
