Dangerfield has slammed the latest in a long line of rumours to link the Crows star with a move to Victoria.

Dangerfield described as “completely untrue” a report on the weekend from Channel 7’s Mark Stevens that a five-year deal was done that would see Dangerfield move to Geelong.

“The source was apparently Twitter,” Dangerfield told FIVEAA Breakfast.

“Give me a break, anyone can write anything on Twitter.

“The reason it happens is because nothing’s been agreed to, it’s round 20, so people will automatically go to these conclusions.

“But to be honest, it’s absolute crap.”

“Because I haven’t made a decision people can act like they’ve got sources closes to the AFC… but it’s simply not true,” Dangerfield said.

“The same thing was being said six months, two months ago.

“They can report what they like, but at the end of the day it’s false.”

Dangerfield said he would not make a decision on his future until the season was over.

“It’ll be after the season. We’re preparing to win games of footy because if we do win games of footy, especially in the next coupe of weeks, we play finals.

“My focus has been on playing.

“It’s not something that concerns me at the moment,” he said.
