It’s time stop the “circus” around Ollie Wines’ contract negotiations with Port Adelaide, says former teammate Kane Cornes.
On Tuesday Wines said he was still “not sure” whether he would re-sign with the club.
“Clearly Wines, despite his love for the Power and having a contract offer on the table that would make him the highest paid player at the club, is still hanging out for more money,” Kane said on FIVEAA.
“Enough is enough. It’s time for Port to offer him an ultimatum. Port Adelaide have played nice to this point but no doubt they are a little annoyed at the latest development.
“Enough of the circus.
“I’d be giving Wines two weeks to sign the offer in front of him. If he refuses place all negotiations on hold until the end of the year.”
