Former Hawks great Shane Crawford says he and his family are in mourning following the sudden death of his younger brother Justin at 45, a former Sydney and Hawthorn player.

Crawford has told News Ltd:

“We are all grieving.

“We are so sad. He was a much-loved brother and son.”

According to the paper:

The Crawford family has requested privacy as they come to terms with the loss of their beloved family member.

No further details were available.

Justin Crawford played 46 matches and kicked 32 goals for the Swans and Hawks from 1995 to 1998.
